Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃🦃🦃

☺ 😫 🐼 🐧

Do you like these kinds of emojis? Would you like to use them in your application?

If you simply just want to use hard-coded emoji links directly from a CDN source, you can generate and copy the emoji source links at http://emojione.com/demo/

However, if you like myself and like to generate the source links dynamically from the emojione library and use those emojis in your application, read on.

There is a JavaScript object emojione in EmojiOne library. One of the method we are going to use is toImage, which can generate the source link given a emoji shorthand notation parameter such as ‘:turkey:’ .

Then you can use the emoji string in your application.

$('#container')[0].innerHTML = emojione.toImage(':turkey:');

One example of how to use EmojiOne library is in Plunker, http://plnkr.co/edit/BXnCMM
